Tasting Notes

Aromas of dried fruit, heartland-toasted grains and oats, with a finish of persimmon, mulberry and fennel are complimented by flavors of gingerbread and toasted cinnamon and holiday spices for a bold and complex with a lasting caramel finish. The finished product came out so smooth we increased the bottling proof to 100.

Hot Cinnamon Toddy

Ingredients

10 oz Heaven's Door Double Barrel

5 oz Honey

30 oz Apple Cider

Sliced Orange and Cinnamon sticks

Instructions

Heat cider and honey on low heat until a desired temperature of 195°F is reached. Combine with whiskey and allow sliced orange and cinnamon sticks to steep for 5 minutes. Garnish with sliced and skewered candy apple.

*Yields 6 cocktails.
